The Bridge–guiding the way home
The need for food, clothing and shelter is inherent to every human being. The desire to feel safe is not affected by finances or social status. The wish for meaningful work and the respect of others exists regardless of whether or not valid identification and computer access is available.
At The Bridge, we understand that being without a home of one’s own doesn’t mean that you no longer share the basic needs and desires of everyday life. It just means that it’s harder to meet those needs.
We open our doors for 60 hours each week to provide meals and services that will help to ease the burdens of downtown St. Louis’ sojourners–and to provide the “step up” that will help them get started on their journey home.
