There are many ways that an individual or group can get involved at The Bridge. From one-time projects like a mass mailing or painting a conference room to ongoing opportunities like working in the Community Resource Room (where the lending library and computer lab are located) or the kitchen, many hands are needed. There are also season-specific needs for “barbecue” holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day) and the month of December (entertainment in the weeks leading up to the annual Christmas party.)
Mealtimes at The Bridge are Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. Monday – Friday; Lunch: 12:00 noon Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. on Sunday; and Dinner: 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Volunteers arrive before meals to help prepare and to serve, and stay afterwards to help clean up in the kitchen and dining room.
